Type 687 for Under Water Use

HAUBER-Elektronik goes below the watersurface! Vibration Measurement goes underwater.
Below the watersurface there are interesting things to be observed. Vibrations are everywhere and
of cause of great importance for pumps and water turbines.

To be able to monitore the occuring vibrations also in the underwater area, HAUBER-Elektronik has
developed a Vibration Control for this area. The new Vibratio Control is called: Typ 687.

This Vibration Control is indicated by two waterwaves on the lable. The housing is made of V4A
stainless steel – material number: 1.4571.

The Vibration Control Typ 687 can be used without problems up to 10 m water depth.

GOST R Certificate for Russian

In the recent years the company HAUBER-Electronik has established itself a respectable name

Vibration Control Type 663 - Now SIL3 classified!

New SPM Thread-Cone for the Types 640 K and 664 K

K is the abbreviation for the German word “Konus” – engl. Cone.
 
Here it is the otherwise identical Type 640 and Type 664, but with a

Siemens decides to HAUBER-Elektronik Type 663 to monitor sugar centrifuges

Intermittent Batch Process sugar centrifuges are usually subjected to very high fluctuating loads / stresses as a result of their cyclic operation with varying RPMs and varying mash / slurry loads.

Improper mash / slurry inputs or even sugar deposits in the centrifuge drum could, upon acceleration of the centrifuge, lead to dangerous vibration levels resulting in machine fatigue and damage.

Hence, such abnormal vibration levels must be instantly recognized, so as to immediately shut-off the centrifuge, in order to protect against machine damage & human harm.

In the process of modernizing the Intermittent Batch Process sugar centrifuges Type ARO-1250 of the sugar refinery “Studen-Agrana“ in Bosnia Herzegovina, the complete sensor, drive and automation systems – excluding the DC motors - have been renewed by SIEMENS Erlangen in 2009.

Respectively for the important task of vibration monitoring, SIEMENS chose HAUBER-ELEKTRONIK technology and applied for this specific industrial process the compact HAUBER-Elektronik vibration sensor Type 663.

This said vibration velocity sensor measures the absolute bearing oscillation / mechanical vibration in accordance with DIN ISO 10816 and in compliance with the SIL2 norm.

Its distinguishing characteristics of signal evaluation by means of two integrated relays and an analogue output that delivers a 4…20mA current proportional to the measured value, as well as that both relay contacts are free-programmable and serve as pre-alarm & main alarm, make it an excellent choice for the vibration monitoring of various centrifuge systems, as has already been recognized and applied by SIEMENS Erlangen.

Significant Order for HAUBER-ELEKTRONIK

In Sept. 09, HAUBER-Elektronik supplied the vibration monitoring units for South Africa's coal-fired Medupi Power Plant, via it's International Representative & Distributor SWEDPARTS HAMBURG.

The cooling technology of the power plant's 6 x 790 MW blocks will be an air-cooled condenser
(108 m x 669 m) the largest of its kind installed world-wide.

HAUBER-Elektronik supplied for this significant cooling system a total of 384 vibration sensors (vibration transmitters) type 664, who's contribution will promote the power plant's performance and reliability.

The vibrationsensor of the series type 663 is suitable for safety-related applications in the process automation referring to International Electronical Commission EN 61508/61511. The vibrationsensor fulfills the requirements of SIL2.
